The celebration is called Allam and the town of Torit.
This safari is designed for the person wanting to see some of South Sudan`s Tribal villages in a short safari close to Juba. Very little wildlife will be seen on this safari because the areas visited have been taken over by domestic animals of the tribes.
DAY 1 - Depart Juba at 7 am and drive to Kapoeta.
Stopping en route to eat a picnic lunch at Torit. At Torit are the Lotuko Villages. Arriving at nightfall at Mango Camp in Kapoeta for dinner.
DAYS 2 & 3 - Visit Toposa and Jie Villages
Within driving distance of being able to return to Mango camp each night. Picnic lunch aboard the vehicle with cold drinks. Breakfasts and dinners in Mango camp.
DAY 4 - Depart at 7 am
After an early breakfast, drive back to Juba, stopping again at Torit among the Lotuko for a picnic lunch, arriving in Juba at nightfall.
SAFARI DATES:
This safari can be taken anytime.
However, we will create the group-
These two dates are 6 days long, allowing for your arrival into Juba the day before, then the 4-day safari, and then allowing for a day after the safari to fly out of Juba. The cost of hotels and Meals in Juba is not included. see the following link about hotels in Juba.
